Why create an Ovid account?

Creating an account with Ovid enables you to save records and searches, to be accessed or re-run anywhere and any time.

Saving and re-running your searches

If you haven’t done so already, you’ll need to create an account with Ovid. To save your search to My Workspace, click Search History to see your searches. Select any searches you want to save as a single combined search, then click Save Selected:

Always give your search a title which will be easily identifiable in future, the topic area for example, rather than search 1 etc. Saving your searches wil help you stay up to date by devising a good search for your topic(s) of interest, then either manually re-running the search periodically, or setting up an alert which will email details of new articles to you every week or month:

In My Workspace, you can re-run or edit your search, or set up an alert. Simply select the search you want by ticking the box next to it:
